CENCO® AP Physics Lab 2.15: Investigating the Resonance of Air

Ideal for AP Physics 1 and 2, AP Physics C, IB DP Physics, and advanced/honors physics courses, each of the 35 experiments is aligned with the revised College Board AP curriculum. In this guided-inquiry version of the classic investigation, students must design an experiment to determine the speed of sound in air using multiple frequencies and harmonics. As with all our AP Physics labs, they must support their conclusions using the Claim-Evidence Reasoning model.
