Classroom Collection of Rocks and Minerals Designed for General Classroom Use

For basic study of mineralogy, this collection contains 50 rock and mineral samples coming largely from the Western region of the United States. Specimens are grouped into the following categories for study:
Rock-forming minerals; igneous rocks; metamorphic rocks; sedimentary rocks; ores of common metals and non-metals; gemstones and scale of hardness samples.
