Tell Time from the Shadows Made by the Earth’s Rotation.

Students construct shadow sticks, which functioned as an early sundial, to observe how changes in a shadow are related to the Earth’s rotation and are used to measure time. It comes with enough materials for 25 students, a teacher’s guide, and student copymasters.
